I'm a full time massage therapist, and I had developed some pain in my elbow. I had visited a few different therapists, prior to Uplift, and no one really resolved my issue. Most therapists follow a standard routine during the session, barely addressing my concern - this is not the case with Uplift. Mike takes the time, and has the knowledge and training, to really treat one's concerns. My elbow pain has completely resolved in just a few sessions. Mike's strength training background gives him an edge in treatment. He is able to identify movements patterns in the body that are not functioning as optimally as they should. These suboptimal patterns are normally the cause of recurring pain, so having someone help you work to correct them is a massive gift! I can't recommend Uplift enough!

Mike is the kind of therapist that I’ve been looking for quite some time. His approach is not one solely based on rest, Ice, meds and avoiding the movements that irritate or bother. Mike created a personalized plan for me to get back to everyday life and training in the gym pain free ( Knee ). Within a few sessions I started noticing positive changes with the program, now I’m virtually pain free. Thanks Mike for helping me get back on track.

I initially went to see Mike for a sports massage to address extreme tightness in my inner thigh that was causing discomfort when dismounting my bike. I got so much more than I expected.

Working with Mike has been truly eye-opening. He identified posture issues, muscle tightness, and weaknesses I didn’t even realize I had, and we’re actively correcting them. I feel stronger, more mobile, and more aware of how my body moves than ever before. Mike’s expertise, knowledge, and hands-on approach have been transformative for me. I’m 43 years old and for the first time in my entire life I can extend my legs past 90 degrees while sitting in a straddle—something I never thought was possible.

I can’t recommend Mike highly enough!

Started going to Mike for TMJ pain relief and an evaluation. I’m about halfway through my program with him and have zero jaw and neck pain for the first time in a decade after trying chiro and acupuncture for pain management. Mike is not only knowledgable and friendly but very intuitive and meets you where you are. He is curious and clearly cares about his clients and is passionate about his work. Not only am I pain free but I feel stronger with each session!

I came to Mike months after finishing rehab for my shoulder after surgery. I was still having nagging pain and was afraid I might have to dial back my level of activity. From the very first session, it was clear that Mike is a great listener. He took the time to understand my concerns, history, and goals, which made me feel confident that I was in the right hands. He provided me with a specific, targeted treatment based on what we’d discussed and was able to focus on the root of my discomfort. One of the standout aspects of working with Mike were the unique exercises he gave me, tailored to my condition. I’m now at the point where I’m almost entirely pain-free, and back to being as active as I’m used to. Mike’s combination of listening, specialized knowledge, and targeted care sets him apart. I highly recommend Uplift.

Mike has been really great working with me through a number of challenges I've faced over the past year - some hereditary issues and work / sports related chronic imbalances with my neck / back / shoulders. Obviously not an easy task, trying to correct decades worth of wear & tear - but he has given so much insight & different perspectives on why I'm dealing with certain issues and what needs to be worked on to counteract them. I've felt consistently better over several months after doing the variety of exercises and techniques he's had me working on - things I'm certain I never would have discovered on my own.
Also - I'm super grateful for his patience and flexibility in trying to accommodate my very frustratingly inconsistent work schedule.
Highly recommend Mike - I'm virtually certain he'll be able to help you out if you seem to running a bit below peak performance :)

For over 3 years I was dealing with knee pain on a frequent basis. I had quit running as a result, and attempted strength training both as a substitute and an attempt to resolve the ongoing knee pain. Unfortunately, the knee pain persisted and I would also deal with back pain occasionally. It felt like I was never going to make progress with both of those hindrances.

I made an appointment with Mike at Uplift about 7 months ago with the goal of getting back to running without knee pain, and squatting without back pain. At the first session Mike was able to immediately identify the source pain for both my knee and my back. Rather than isolating and focusing on just the two areas where I felt pain, he identified my limited mobility in my hips and treated that as the root cause over multiple sessions.

Per Mike's recommendation I booked 19 sessions. About halfway through that time, I was noticing I was able to do leg workouts and not feel pain the next day. About 3/4's of the way through our booked sessions I had attempted running and felt fantastic during the run and the following day. By our last session I was able to barbell squat to parallel without knee pain or back pain.

Thanks to Mike, I have been able to return to running multiple days a week, and reintroduce squatting into my routines. I left Uplift having met my goals, but I also left with the knowledge and tools to make the necessary corrections should my pain occur again.

You can expect a com- prehensive assessment to find your mobility limitations, followed by extensive deep tissue work on the massage table, and then instructions and a plan for a variety of movements to address your issues. Whether an athlete looking to improve at your sport, or simply dealing with the side effects of poor mobility, Uplift will do a great job fixing you up. Highly recommended!

I had a tremendous amount of shoulder pain, and after a week of pure panic and not knowing what to do to fix it, I decided to invest some money in a message. I will say, I was very skeptical of this working, but I'd heard good things so I decided why not? Anyways, when I got there Mike met me and was super friendly and asked me a series of questions to fix the problem. The massage was great, I've never gotten one but it didn't hurt and he was super careful around the damaged area. After that, he gave me a series of exercises to make my shoulder stronger, which at first i was also skeptical about... but it worked!!! I currently have little to no pain and if I do feel my shoulder pain, I do the exercises to re-strengthen it, I am more than glad I decided to invest in this massage, and happy I met Mike, a lovely fellow!
